Pennie Liu graduated from UCLA in 2001 with a double major in Political Science and Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in 2006. She was a Certified Law Clerk for the Orange County District Attorney's Office and a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert W. Alberts, United States Bankruptcy Court-Central District of California.
While at Whittier Law School, she was the Notes & Comments Editor of the Whittier Law Review and also received a certificate from the International and Comparative Law Program.
Ms. Liu has several years of experience in the areas of premises liability, personal injury, toxic torts, general liability and is also familiar with the area of California anti-SLAPP law.
In 2006, she was admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court-Central Distict of California. She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
